1. What types of functions are best suited for The Aisling String Trio? ----AST can add a special touch to almost any important occasion, formal or casual. Whether it’s a wedding ceremony, wedding reception, dinner, party, open house, wake, Christmas party, outdoor gathering or even a business meeting, The Aisling String Trio can provide the magic touch that only live music can create.

2. What types of music does AST perform?—The Aisling String Trio is extremely versatile and performs a wide range of styles, from classical to contemporary, Celtic to Old Time. As an acoustic trio, AST does not play hard rock or disco music but we have adapted our acoustic instrumental approach successfully to light contemporary music as well as classical favorites, elegant Celtic airs, Old Time and folk music and of course exciting fiddle tunes. AST is comprised of three seasoned professionals who have performed all over the world in many types of musical organizations, from choirs and symphonies to rock bands. 3. Where can AST perform?---We are based in North Texas and play extensively throughout the DFW and North East Texas area. Of course we are available to travel nearly anywhere, provided that any air or extensive ground transportation expenses are reimbursed.

4. Can AST provide a sound system for larger venues?---Yes, AST owns a high quality sound system suitable for rooms and halls accommodating up to 300 people. Please give us your requirements when you inquire about your event as we do include an additional charge to cover the time and expense involved in setting up sound reinforcement for your venue.

5. Can AST organize a larger musical ensemble if necessary?—Yes, AST works with a large group of professional musicians when required. For example, you may require a classical trio for a wedding ceremony and a pop/country group for the reception. AST can provide the music for both events by engaging two or three of our colleagues for the reception, probably at considerable savings as compared to hiring two separate bands.

6. How much does AST charge for an event?---This depends on the location, duration, date and requirements of your specific event. Please call or email us with details of your event and we will give you an exact quotation.

7. How far in advance should I try to book AST?—The longer we have to plan for your event the better for everyone. Please feel free to call or email us as soon as you begin your planning process.
